Harvest Housing Group owns and manages more than 18 000 general needs, leasehold, sheltered and supported homes in the North West of England. Housing and Neighbourhood Services are delivered by locally based housing associations comprising Derwent & Solway in Cumbria, Eaves Brook in Lancashire, Manchester and District in Manchester, Greater Manchester and Cheshire, Partington in Partington and Moorlands Housing in and around the Leek, Cheadle and Biddulph areas in Staffordshire. Prospective applicants should also be aware that the number of schemes that are initially included in the contract may vary during the currency of the contract as a result of changes in the groups property portfolio. The quality of the Servicing, repairs and maintenance that we provide to our fire alarm systems and appliances and emergency lighting is therefore of paramount importance in improving customer satisfaction and ensuring the safety in the services we deliver. We are seeking therefore to appoint a contractor who can deliver fire alarm systems, appliances and emergency lighting servicing, repairs and maintenance to all 3 areas, North, Central and South served by Harvest Housing Group to the highest possible standards and can demonstrate to the satisfaction of Harvest Housing Group a proven track record in the delivery of these services. Applicants will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) and the evaluation of this PQQ will establish those companies that have pre-qualified and selected to tender. The successful contractor must be able to show a commitment to providing effective services that provide value for money to Harvest Housing Group and its tenants. The proposed contract period will be for an initial period of 2 years with the option for extensions to this initial period on an annual basis for annual periods of up to a further 3 years all subject to provisions for earlier termination including a break clause and annual renewals based on meeting and maintaining key performance indicators. Harvest Housing Group reserves the right to withdraw from this procurement procedure at anytime without awarding a contract. Harvest Housing Group and/or its advisors shall not be liable for and will not pay any costs in respect of the preparation of any application and tender submission of any applicant or bidder whether they are successful or unsuccessful and all applicants and bidders are to be responsible for all of the costs and expenses they incur as a result of participating in this procurement process irrespective of whether the procedure is completed or is abandoned without any appointment. An applicant shall be deemed to have unequivocally accepted this as a condition precedent to participation in this procurement process.
