The British Library's Strategy for access to its newspaper collections is to close its Colindale site in north London by September 2013 and move its newspaper services to its main London site at St Pancras, opening a new News Reading Room in early December 2013. The newspaper microfilm collection will move to the St Pancras site and be available for consultation by researchers. The British library Library is seeking a PC based microfilm viewing solution which will allow readers to view microfilm using a microfilm carrier linked to a standard networked Reading Room PC.
