The design, manufacture, testing and delivery of a high powered tetrode valve, associated valve base and lifting device for use in the upgrade of the ISIS neutron spallation particle accelerator. This valve will form part of an RF amplifier used to accelerate a proton beam to 800MeV. The valve will be housed in a separate enclosure with both water and air cooling capability, mounted vertically, anode up within the proprietary base.
