Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust wishes to implement a fully electronic, robust voice recognition system across the health economy, to enable the reduction of typing back logs and increase efficiency of the production of clinical correspondence and productivity of medical secretarial staff. A solution is required that provides a structured workflow for the safe and efficient creation, saving, distributing, filing and retrieval of all clinical letters and has the ability to integrate with the Trusts clinical portal. The solution needs to provide an voice recognition module that is an integral component of this workflow and one that provides an automatic assembly of the document with uniform outputs of clinical letters with a fully automated distribution. The trust is keen to explore the opportunity to host this solution on site. The VR should be server based with the solution delivered as a service from a data centre.
