Request For Information (RFI) No. MRA/001/2017 / Small Arms Indoor Training Simulator (SAITS). Small Arms Indoor Training Simulator (SAITS) means a shooting training system for hand-held (“shoot-and-look”) weapons such as assault rifles, pistols, light anti-tank weapons, sniper-rifles and light machine guns. The general idea is that training with SAITS replicates “live firing” but can be set up quickly, is done in-doors safely without danger-zones and without stressing the environment. The SAITS will be used for: 1. Basic marksmanship training 2. Advanced weapons training 3. Tactical shooting exercises up to team level (2-4 soldiers) 4. Decision-making training considering the use of weapons Its aim is to procure appr. 65 studios.
