Pharmacy Stock Control and Medicines Management System.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has a requirement to procure a Pharmacy Stock Control and Medicines Management System (and life support/upgrades etc). Expressions of interest are invited from competent, professional and experienced suppliers with the ability to support the needs of an acute trust. The pharmacy stock control system will be required to cover materials management and stores support, including purchase orders, invoicing (including homecare), payments and picking lists. The system will also cover dispensing activities including labelling and formulary management in Trust and outsourced outpatient pharmacies, support for preparation and assembly of pre-packed products and specialist aseptic products. It must cover audit reports, operational and management reporting, and provide comprehensive data extraction facilities for all other reporting purposes. The system must also reconcile financially. The system must interface with current and future trust systems which include (or may include) but are not limited to PAS systems, automated dispensing devices, electronic prescribing, medicines stock distribution, medicines administration systems, finance systems, pharmacy procurement systems and pharmacy preparative systems.
