HiPER is a proposed High Power laser Energy Research facility dedicated to demonstrating the feasibility of laser driven fusion (Laser Energy) as a future energy source. CALTA is the Centre for Advanced Laser Technology & Applications, a technology centre recently established by the Science & Technology Facilities Council to develop and exploit high peak power, high average power laser systems. There is a requirement for a specialist Contractor in media and communications to deliver the HiPER communications plan, assist with the management of high-influence HiPER stakeholders and to develop the CALTA brand in its start-up phase.
