The contract is a collaborative framework agreement for the supply, installation and maintenance of video conferencing equipment as required by local authorities in the East Midlands Region comprising of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire and including the county, city, district and borough councils, within the above counties, and the Peak District National Park Authority. Precise details of all authorities can be found on www.eastmidlandsiep.gov.uk. For each county the video conferencing equipment will be deployed in several locations giving a total number of locations between 8 and 14. Other authorities including police services, fire and rescue services, health services, schools and further education colleges within the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire may have future requirements for video conferencing equipment. Leicestershire and Rutland county councils will require a managed service.
