North East Lincolnshire Council is undertaking preliminary market consultation (PMC) to help it determine the best way to deliver its statutory duty of seizing and detaining dogs believed to be strays within the borough, and has not formally ruled out any option for the delivery of this service in an alternative way. The current service processes approximately 550 dogs per year. Organisations are asked to complete a questionnaire, all documentation can be downloaded from www.yortender.co.uk using the reference number A5XA-3WY0YX. Organisations are invited to attend a 45-minute meeting during the afternoon of 27.1.2016. Non-attendance at a meeting does not preclude organisations from completing and submitting responses to the questionnaire. At this stage we are formulating our options and are inviting the market to provide the Council with information to help determine future options for delivery, this is not a call for competition and may/may not lead to a procurement.
