The University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering provides modern laboratory accommodation and state of the art research facilities. Dry etching and film deposition tools are essential for nanomaterial and 2d material research at the Department. These techniques are used extensively in the ongoing efforts within the University of Cambridge in developing the novel nanoelectronic components, on-chip integrated optoelectronic circuits, quantum devices, 2d material related devices, photonic and plasmonic systems. The department requires a bundle of RIE, ICP-RIE and PE-CVD systems more fully described in Section 3 of this tender.
