Medical Oxygen to be refilled in cylinders.

1a. Medical oxygen to be refilled in cylinders supplied on loan (free of charge) or rental basis by the contractor, according to requirements of hospitals / health centers / any other site as indicated by the Government Pharmaceutical Services. Any other cylinders belonging to the Dept. of Health are also to be refilled according to M.H.E.C requirements. The sizes of the cylinders are: 0.4, 0.55, 1.0, 1.1, 1.5, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 6, 7, and 10 cubic metres. No oil should be present in this product. The medical oxygen supplied to the Government Pharmaceutical Services is to comply with all the tests shown on the BP/EP/USP/BPC monographs. A certificate to this effect is to be supplied with each consignment of product supplied. The General Conditions for the Supply of Medical Gas shall also apply to all cylinders whether they belong to contractor or Department of Health Tenderer is to quote as follows:: 1a Medical Oxygen per cubic metre 1b Rental charges per cylinder size (if applicable) 1c Cost of damaged/lost cylinder 1d Cost of cylinder caps (if applicable)
