Portsmouth City Council, ‘the Authority’, is inviting tenders from suitably qualified organisations, to deliver an Advocacy Support Service. The aim of the service is to achieve the following objectives: a) Independent Advocacy; b) Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA); c) Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) — including IMCA in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS); d) Relevant person representative; e) Advocacy for Parents at Child Protection Case Conferences. The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 18.4.2016 with a subsequent commencement date of 20.6.2016.
