The Council is looking to appoint a Main Contractor to undertake all elements of work relating to the restoration of Dreamland Amusement Park, Margate. The aim of the project is the restoration of the Dreamland, Margate Amusement Park, including stabilisation, alteration and refurbishment of the undercroft of the Grade II* listed Dreamland cinema building with provision of services and facilities to reinstate the area as the main Dreamland amusement park entrance off Margate's Marine Terrace promenade, renewing services around Dreamland's external areas, landscaping, way-finding and site interpretation. Note — Repair and restoration of the Grade II* listed Scenic Railway Roller Coaster will be undertaken under a separate contract which will be run concurrently with this contract.
