City Advice Service.

The City of London Corporation is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent suppliers to provide a new generalist information and advice service, the City Advice Service. The Service will provide a free, impartial and non-judgemental generalist Information and Advice service to City residents, workers, and to tenants living on City of London housing estates outside of the ‘square mile'. The main subject areas on which clients are likely to require advice include the following, of which the current majority of activity is in the 1 st four areas listed: — Benefits, — Debt and management of finances, — Housing, — Employment issues, — Family issues, — Access to training and educational opportunities, — Consumer issues, — Immigration, — Civil Litigation and public law, — Community safety and domestic violence. The Service will comprise of four service components: — Service Component 1 — Lead Provider Management function — — Service Component 2 — Open access across multiple channels (Triage model) — Service Component 3 — Pro-active awareness raising / education — — Service Component 4 — Specialist Advice/Casework.
