Kent Internation Airport ("KIA") has procured a new mode S capable Monopulse secondary surveillance radar ("MSSR") to mitigate (in conjunction with a transponder manadatory zone ("TMZ")) the effect of wind turbine developments on the existing KIA approach surveillance radar ("PSR"). KIA took the option to replace its PSR system too. KIA awarded the lot 1 option of the original contract notice.
