The whole project consists of 96 WTGs, WTG Foundations, Inter Array Cables and an Offshore Substation (OSS). The wind farm is located in the German Bight, 90 km west of the island of Sylt, in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The location provides water depths between 25 and 34 meters. The Sandbank project is equipped with an irrevocable permit. In a first construction phase 288 MW will be realised.
