Contract description The TA operation aims at complementing an EIB loan to the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) for the construction of Cairo Metro line three phase three. The objective of the TA operation is to assist NAT to manage and implement the Line three Phase three project to ensure that it meets the required quality, is delivered on time, within budget, and according to international standards. The Consultant will in particular assist NAT in: (i) the planning and continuous follow up on Progress of Line three Phase 3, (ii) the budgeting and cost control of the Project, (iii) the procurement of the various contracts to ensure that it matches lenders requirements, (iv) the management of the project’s contracts, (v) environmental and social management of the project and (vi) liaising and regular reporting to lenders. Key experts will cover the following areas of expertise: (i) procurement and contract management, (ii) project planning and reporting (iii) budgeting and cost control, (iv) environmental management and (v) safety management. 8.
