Warwickshire CC is looking for a single provider to deliver the Mental Health Employment Support Service county-wide. The service will adopt recommended best practice for the delivery of support employment, including a strong focus on utilising Individual Placement and Support (IPS) principles in the service delivery model. The principles advocated include: — The focus should be on achieving paid competitive employment. — Eligibility is based on an individual's preferences and anyone who is motivated to work is given the help to do so. — Employment support tries to find work that is consistent with people's preferences and choices. — Programmes should involve rapid job search and minimal pre-vocational training.
