NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney: main contractor framework.

Please ignore the estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement, as referenced in II.1.4. NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney require expressions of interest from main contractors for the following Lots to support construction projects ranging from 5 000 GBP upwards (excluding VAT): Lot 1 - for construction spend between 5 000 GBP to 750 000 GBP per contract under the framework. Lot 2 - for construction spend between 750 001 GBP to 2 000 000 GBP per contract under the framework. Lot 3 - for construction spend from 2 000 001 GBP plus per contract under the framework (there is no upper limit on spend under this lot). The anticipated timescales for appointment are: publication of contract notice and issue of PQQ/MOI: 8.2.2012, receipt of PQQs: 7.3.2012, issue tender: 23.3.2012, tender return: 21.5.2012, appointment: 25.6.2012. Please note with reference to Section II.1.4 above that the intention is for the final framework to have a maximum of 4 main contractors per lot, so a maximum of 12 main contractors in total. Please note with reference to Section IV.1.2 below that the intention is to invite a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 main contractors to tender per lot, so a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 24 main contractors in total. NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney (the contracting authority) is part of a newly formed PCT Cluster (known as NHS Norfolk and Waveney) which brings together NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney and NHS Norfolk. NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney is advertising on behalf of the Cluster which comprises NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney and NHS Norfolk. It is anticipated that ALL NHS organisations including any new NHS organisations (and their successors) in the East of England may be parties to the framework and able to instruct the main contractors and use construction services under it.
