The Authority manages a network of 19 recycling centres. Of these centres, the contract for the operation of 18 centres is due to expire on 5.4.2017. The Authority also has contracts in place for the operation of two waste transfer stations which are located adjacent to recycling centres at Crowndale and Punchbowl. The operation of these two waste transfer stations will form part of the contract.
