Pressurised fluid extractor

NTNU shall procure an instrument that automates sample extraction by using solvents under high temperatures and pressure. It effectively removes unwanted matrix components and improves analyte extraction. The elevated temperature increases efficiency, while the increased pressure keeps the solvent in liquid form over the boiling point, enabling faster and more efficient extraction. By automating the process, the instrument reduces the use of hazardous solvents and minimises exposure to users in the laboratory.
