Cliff-stabilisation works. Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work. Coastal-defence works. Engineering works and construction works. Site preparation work. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest from contractors wishing to tender for stabilisation works to the unstable section of the Cliff Gardens area in Southend on Sea. The slope stability remedial works are to be undertaken prior to the intended construction of a museum which will provide a permanent stabilisation solution to the site. The aim of the project is to provide an economic cliff stabilisation solution that is of benefit to and coordinated with the museum structure, but with the main focus of the work to make the area safe.
