Vocational training services. A 4 year enabling contract for the provision of non-ionising (radio frequency) radiation protection training. The courses will comprise of but will not be limited to the following: — Understanding the nature and properties of electromagnetic fields, the difference between non-ionising radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum and the principle effects of electromagnetic waves on biological tissue, — Understanding the health effects of electromagnetic fields on the human body, including body resonance, depth of penetration and microwave hearing, multiple frequency and source exposure, — Understand associated indirect effects; shocks and burns, flammable atmospheres, electronic explosive device, electromagnetic components of medical implants, — Understand the need for basic restrictions on exposure to electromagnetic fields (exposure limit values) and the permitted electric, magnetic and power density exposure reference levels (action levels). It is essential that all courses are compliant with legislation and MOD mandate.
