Security Fencing New Installation and Renewal 2014-18 Translink wish to appoint an Economic Operator to provide maintenance and the renewal of all security fencing across its network. Security fencing is defined as rigid mesh fencing, palisade style fencing, chain link fencing, security gates and associated products, for example, fantails, wall toppings etc. This scope of work will be the removal and disposal of existing fence and fence posts where necessary such as post and wire fence, chain link fence, palisade fence, timber sleepers and the breaking up removal and disposal of existing concrete bases and backfilling as required at various bus and rail locations as directed by the NI Railways Project Manager. NI Railways network covers approximately 280 route miles of track. The security fencing will be along the NI Railways boundary unless otherwise directed by the NI Railways Project Manager. Individual work packages will be instructed by means of a Task Order. This will take the form of an instruction issued by the Project Manger to the successful contractor. These task orders may be issued for an individual site or encompass multiple sites and jobs. The contractor is to allow for regular commercial and planning meetings with NIR within their rates. The NEC3 Term Service Short Contract will be for four year contract as set out in the Contract Data. Please note the PQQ/ITT return date of 12:00 on Thursday 12.3.2015.
