The light rail in Bergen shall start construction stage 2, which stretches from Nesttun to Lagunen in Rådalen. The work is divided up into several contracts which will be announced separately. This notice is for ground works for the part known as B20202 Fanavegen, which stretches from the south end of the walking street at Nesttun to Skjokld and comprises of the following: — Establishment of a portal at the Nesttunbrekka tunnel at the south end of the walking street Nesttun, — Construction of the Nesttunbrekka tunnel including portal (length approx. 450 m), — Re-establishment of a junction/roundabout in Skjoldskiftet, — Construction of a culvert ("lid") in Skjoldskiftet, with the track over and vehicles under, — Construction of the track route on the east side of the Fana road, — Construction of the Mårdals tunnel including portals (length approx. 400 m). A competition is announced for a contract with one contractor. The work will consist of blasting work, tunnel driving, considerable replacement of matter, relaying cables in the ground: high voltage, low voltage, tele, water and sewage as well as the construction of the road and track route. In addition there will be constructions in the form of contact wire foundations, rectifier foundations, one overpass for foot/cycles and 2 stops in Skjoldskiftet and at Tors road respectively. The work will be done in a densely populated area, with established infrastructure which must be always safeguarded. This particularly means exposure to BKK Nett's 132 kV cable which currently partly lies in the road route at Skjold, handling polluted matter along large parts of the route and handling traffic at Fanavegen and the adjoining areas.
