Tender for the provision of a Lift Maintenance Framework

The Housing Executive wishes to procure suitably qualified and competent persons to provide a comprehensive lift maintenance, repair and call out service throughout Northern Ireland. Some of the 85 lift units have on going service maintenance contracts which will expire at different stages during the running of the framework. The number of lift units to be maintained will increase in each year of the four year framework until all 85 lift units across 34 multi-storey tower blocks of the Housing Executive are included. The stock will be split into two separate Lots and require the following work to be undertaken as part of the service:- -Monthly Maintenance of all lifts -Annual Maintenance to specific parts of lifts -Assessment and completing repairs to lifts, including the provision of parts -Response to call outs 24hrs/day, 7days/week -Installation of new Lift Communication/Autodialer systems -Testing of lifts as directed by the Housing Executive In exceptional or emergency situations (as specified in the contract documentation), the Housing Executive may require the provision of lift maintenance services in the Lot area adjacent to the Contractor's appointed Lot. The Service will occur in occupied tower blocks and in some cases in and around dwellings occupied by persons with disabilities and special needs. The provision of the Service is required during Normal Working Hours (08:00 – 18:00) and includes the provision of an emergency response service outside Normal Working Hours so that total cover is given 24 hours per day, every day of the year for the duration of the contract awarded.
