Infrastructure refresh for a national video conferencing service.

This PIN notice constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) to explore the options for replacing the existing hardware infrastructure that currently underpins our national video conferencing service for research and education, Vscene. These options may range from a hardware solution to a cloud service or a hybrid approach. This is an information gathering exercise by Jisc. The information obtained from this RFI will be used by Jisc to help establish the parameters of a major OJEU procurement for video conferencing infrastructure to be launched by Jisc in 2015. Suppliers wishing to respond to this RFI should read the RFI document, which can be obtained from the e-tendering portal, carefully and follow the guidance for responding. Any information submitted at this RFI stage will be confidential and non-binding.
