Following a review of its Concierge Services, THCH is looking to procure a new provider to deliver services for 4 sites in London based in E1, E2 and E14. The scope of the service varies at different sites and the service is to be provided all days of the year including bank holidays. THCH is proposing an initial 3 year contract with the option to extend the contract by 2 further 1 year periods. Based on the assessment of the service providers’ performance. Further details on the basis any such extension maybe granted will be set out within the Invitation to Tender documentation. The appointed contractor will be an approved contractor certified by the Security Industries Authority and shall be responsible for acquiring and maintaining the necessary licenses required by the Security Industry Authority for undertaking the work in the contract. The contractor is expected to play a role in fostering good relations and improved behaviour among residents and their visitors. The concierge has a key role to play in preventing anti-social behaviour in particular in the lobby area and other communal areas of the building. The services include the operation and monitoring of CCTV equipment and contractors must be adequately trained and licensed for these duties by the contractor. The scope of the service includes, but is not limited to: the operation of reception services and door entry security systems; providing a secure and welcoming reception service to the residents of the block; preventing unauthorised visitors from entering the building and ensuring the security and safety of residents, emergency spot cleaning, record keeping and fire safety procedures.
