Changes have been made to the Specification provided to Tenderers as detailed below: Section 2 — Mechanical Technical Specification 2.1 Regulations The Equipment and the Spare Parts shall in all respects comply with all current United Kingdom and EU Legislation that is in force at the time the Unit or Spare Part is handed over to the Purchaser and will at least comply with: 1. The EC Machinery Directive 98/37/EC for which a CE certificate must be issued and copies of the appropriate Technical and Safety Files (including all risk assessments) issued to the Purchaser prior to delivery of the equipment. Also included shall be a full whole body vibration test according to EN 13059. 2. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. 3. The Safety in Docks Approved Code of Practice. 4. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and to comply in all respects with the 17 th Edition BS.7671: 1992, requirements for Electrical Installations. 5. IEC 61508 Standards for Electrical Parts. 6. EMC Regulations 2006. 7. The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. 8. Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. 9. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1992. 10. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998. Note: Special attention shall be given to access for operating and all maintenance functions. 11. Relevant British Standard Specifications or EEC approved (Equivalents or Superior Standard). 12. The COSHH Regulations 2002 and the Purchaser's Environment Policy. 13. EU Exhaust Emission Directive NRMM/97/68EC as amended. 14. Roll-over and Falling Object Protection (ISO 3471 and 3449). 15. If applicable The ATEX Directive 94/9/EC. Section 6 — Safety, Inspection, Drawings, Maintenance Manuals and Training 6.1 Safety Provisions In the design and construction of the Equipment all safety provisions called for in the legislation which is referred to in Section 2 of this Technical Specification shall be observed. In particular the standards applied by the Health and Safety Executive shall be met. 6.2 Inspection Inspection shall be carried out in accordance with a scope to be agreed between the parties. The Purchaser may carry out a number of inspections prior to and during manufacture at the Vendor's premises either by 1 of his own inspectors or by an outside appointed inspector. The Vendor shall allow access for the purpose of these inspections.
