High Level Maintenance and Cleaning Services - Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth

Portsmouth City Council (the Council) wishes to procure high level maintenance and cleaning services to be delivered at the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth. The tower is a 170 metre tall visitor attraction overlooking historical Portsmouth harbour and the Solent. The contract term will be for a period of 7 years with 2 possible extension periods (3+2+2) after the initial three years subject to performance and agreement by both parties. The combined estimated value of the contract may be up to GBP 700,000 over the 7 year period; however, due to the variable nature of the service, the Council makes no guarantee of the contract values. The contract may also be utilised across the Council's portfolio of properties where appropriate which could lead to an increase in the value of services and works covered by the contract. The contract will commence not later than 1.6.2013 following the award of the contract on 3.5.2013.
