RNE provides different services to European Rail Infrastructure Managers and Allocation Bodies including non-standard software applications, data exchange between several IT-systems and reporting. Software solutions provided by RNE are mainly located in the RNE data center which is divided into production data center and fail-over and test data center which are located in two different areas in Vienna. The current operation of the RNE data center is a managed housing solution. The service management methods are based on the concept of ITIL.
