General concept. A travelling interactive theme exhibition which deals with different aspects of imitation, fake, duplication. This exhibition is a collaboration between 4 partners. The exhibition will travel to 3 of the 4 partners and will then be rented out. Size. Around 34 interactive exhibits and some décor elements on a surface of approx. 600-700 m2. Description of the assignment. Includes: — production of the interactive exhibits, according to given drawings, — engineering, — hardware, including purchase and installation in the exhibits, following given specifications, — cooperation with specialised companies (multimedia, robots), — transport to and installation of the exhibition on the first location (vilvite, bergen, norway). Excludes: — design and production multimedia, — audio recordings, — clips, — labels, layout and printing, — design of exhibits. Materials and design. Most of the exhibits are rather small exhibits ±1 m² made of plywood and HPL finishing. Some exhibits are bigger and have also metal structures, truss. Language. The exhibition will be developed to be shown in three languages of equal importance. Target audience: — schools, — families, — make the exhibition as accessible as possible without going into extreme measures, — minimal age of target group=8 years. Timing. Installation: September 2011 in Vilvite, Bergen, Norway. Opening for the public: end of September 2011. Meetings and communication. All communication (meetings, meetings reports, mails, etc) will be in English. Good communication with project managers, cooperating companies by mail, phone,.. is necessary. At key stages in the process collaborators of all partners will check the process in the workshop.
