NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust, may advertise a tender opportunity on behalf of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) between April 2013 - March 2014 for a Mobile PET Scanning Service. BCUHB is currently compiling a business case to repatriate the PET Scanning of its patients from Christies Hospital to North Wales in the form of a mobile PET scanning service provided by a 3rd party. This Prior Information Notice is published to invite potential suppliers of such a service to make contact with the Health Board via its Procurement Lead, Joanne Liddle, to register their interest. The Health Board would like to enter into "technical dialogue" with these suppliers to discuss possible options and indicative costs that will allow the Health Board to complete its business case and also develope their specification of requirements should the business case be approved. Suppliers are invited to contact Joanne Liddle via email only at Joanne.liddle@wales.nhs.uk stating their company name and contact details by no later than Friday 22nd March 2013 so that meetings/discussions can take place.
