Nedre Romerike Sewage Company (henceforth referred to as NRA) cleanses sewage water for three municipalities with a total connection of approx. 130 000 pe. The entire region is growing rapidly and the dimensioning basis for the facility is based on NRA have almost double the amount of connections in 2040. NRA shall, in order to reduce emissions of sewage water, construct a chemical cleansing stage, including a preliminary treatment process of the water that runs in spillway in front of the existing plant. The new cleansing stage will be entirely built in rock. The contract includes blasting of an accompanying rock hall in connection with the existing facility.
