The scope of this call for tender contains the design of complete 33 kV capacitor bank including filter (air-core reactor and/or resistor), the supply and transport to site in the Netherlands, the erection and testing on site for TenneT's high voltage grid in the Netherlands. In the period between 2017 and 2023, TenneT expect to build 5 off-shore platforms for the connection of off-shore wind farms to TenneT's on shore high voltage grid. For the connection of the platforms to TenneT's on shore grid, TenneT shall equip 5 land-stations with in total 10 capacitor banks 33 kV for outdoor application, with the following main characteristics: It is expected that the capacitor bank will be switched on and off multiple times per day; Installation locations are near the coast/industrial area, this shall be taken into account into the design (salty/polluted air). Furthermore the following technical requirements are applicable: Expected reactive power between 25 and 40 MVAr; Voltage level Ur = 33 kV, Um = 36 kV; Expected I short circuit: 20 kA/1 sec. After selection of candidates, TenneT directly start with the call for tender for the mentioned capacitor banks. The call for tender shall result in a framework agreement with 1 supplier for the delivery and installation for all needed capacitor banks (and possibly the air-core reactors) in the mentioned period. TenneT expect to make the 1 st call of orders in Q1 / Q2 2017 for the capacitor banks. The TenneT tendering process for these components consists of 2 phases: Phase 1: Selection phase; Phase 2: Call for tender (ITT, RFQ, Initial bid, Negotiation, Best and Final offer, Awarding).
