Enabling Cost-efficient Electrification in Finland

The main objective of this study is to provide a holistic view on the potential of electrification in Finland, identify important enablers and key pain points for cost-efficient development, and draw policy recommendations. Through this study, Sitra’s objective is to promote public discussion on and understanding of electrification based on the best available evidence. The study also helps to understand how to best advance electrification. This is a critical time to consider these issues and to put the appropriate policies in place. Hence, the project is scheduled in a way that the findings can feed into the ongoing national strategy update processes, such as the climate and energy strategy. The tenderer may decide the number of team members. Only four persons' (team leader and three members of the team) experience and skills are taken into consideration when comparison of the tenders is made.
