The tender contest involves entering into an agreement for delivery servers and storage systems to the participating municipalities/entities in the BTV cooperation. Description: A server is a combination of hardware and software which together provides a service in a network. This agreement includes both: Hardware, stand-alone or rack installable machines, also blade servers, disk cabinets, disks, separate (redundant) power supply and UPS, tape stations and tape robots for backup as well as systems for SAN and file cluster. Software: operating systems to servers as well as server software for the service, such as file, print, database, backup, monitoring or distributed applications. Potential separate framework agreements for the software are considered advantageous. The annual value of the contract is approx. 7 500 000 NOK, excluding VAT. See point 2a in the requirement specification for further information. The Awarding Authority uses Visma TendSign in this tender procedure. It is recommended that the tender is submitted well before the deadline for receipt of tenders If there is additional information from the awarding authority which leads to changing the tender before the deadline expires, the tenderer can go in and open the tender and make any changes and send it in again right up until the deadline. The last received tender is considered as the final one.
