The scope of the contract includes: — Detailed design for manufacture of the vacuum window units for the ITER ICH antenna, — Production of a Design Description Document and a Manufacturing Plan, — Production of manufacturing drawings, — Manufacture of 1 or more half-scale mock-up(s) of the window unit, — Manufacture of 1 or more full-scale prototypes of the window unit, — Qualification of the window unit through engineering justification and mock-up testing (testing is envisaged to be performed externally by third party) for the purposes of operational functionality and safety-related functions, — Series production of the qualified window unit (currently 32 units + spares).
