Training and simulation in military vehicles. Expressions of Interest for a 3 year contract with 1 option year. The RAF operates a fleet of Trauma Management Vehicles (TMVs), which is a 6-wheel, automatic transmission variant, utilised on both operational airfields and deployed locations in the Emergency Response role throughout the UK on metalled road surfaces, tracks and rough terrain. The vehicles are fitted with blue oscillating lights, 2-tone sirens and ambulance markings. The training to be delivered is a Train the Trainer Course (TTTC) to be conducted at various RAF units/establishments throughout the UK. This will ensure that the RAF has a cadre of fully-trained instructors capable of delivering TMV driver training to other personnel. It is pivotal that the level of initial TMV TTTC instruction is of sufficient depth and quality to ensure that post-course training is conducted effectively and efficiently. The TMV, together with associated fuel, oils and lubricants, will be provided by the unit/establishment requesting the TTTC.
