Dublin City Council (DCC) is seeking information from economic operators for the provision of electronic noticeboards which will enable timely communication of statutory notices, associated and educational information to members of the public. The initial scope of the project will focus on signage at Dublin City Councils 6 bathing waters, however it is not limited to this application. There is a strong preference for the solution to be self sustainable and powered by some form of renewable energy. The solution shall meet minimum size requirements, be universally designed, robust to coastal conditions, resilient to anti-social behaviour and capable of being controlled remotely. Considerations shall also be given to the receiving environment and the solution shall be aesthetically pleasing.
