Upgrading of telephone switchboard with support system.

Bergen University (UiB) will upgrade their telephone equipment. The key words for the new solution will be Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and Unified Communication (UC). Negotiations will be undertaken on the basis of tenders received. The solution will include so many elements in complex interaction that negotiations are essential to arrive at a solution with which both UiB and the supplier are comfortable. We consider that it is impossible to determine such precise specifications to enable the choice of the best tender to be made under the rules for an open or limited tender competition.(ref.
