NHS Commercial Solutions on behalf of other contracting bodies are looking for a number of providers to be appointed onto a framework agreement for the provision of internal audit and local counter fraud services. The framework will be awarded for 2 years with an option to extend twice for 12 months. The provision of these services has been defined within the following lots, more information is provided in the tender documents: Lot 1 – provision of internal audit services. The authority requires a comprehensive and efficient internal audit service, that fulfils the requirements of international standards for the professional practice of internal auditing and specific requirements relating to the NHS as specified in the Department of Health's NHS internal audit manual. Lot 2 - provision of counter fraud services. The authority requires a robust counter fraud service that fulfils the requirements of the Department of Health Secretary of State Directions and the NHS fraud and corruption manual. Lot 3 - provision of internal audit & counter fraud services. Lot 3 provides tenderers the opportunity to bid for both services under a single contract.
