Electronic document management & records system.

You are invited by The Crescent Purchasing Consortium (from now on referred to as CPC) to submit a PQQ for the provision and implementation of an electronic records and document management solution to the further education sector. Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) was established in 2 000 to assist further education institutions in obtaining better value for money for goods and services. This has been achieved by establishing EU tendered supply arrangements with over 400 supplier agreements, then publicising their availability to members via our website, email lists and catalogue. Membership of the CPC is free for FE Institutions, and there is no compulsion upon members to use the supply arrangements. Funding for the CPCs services is provided by retrospective marketing premiums from approved suppliers based on spend with CPC members. CPC currently has over 650 members and membership is continuing to grow. The CPC website can be visited at www.cpc.salford.ac.uk but please note that access for non-members is limited to only a few of the available areas. The association of colleges have committed to supporting the further education sector to improve and develop its procurement practice and as such a small national team has been formed to support Institutions in this development. One of the initiatives currently being taken forward is the use of consortia arrangements e.g. Crescent Purchasing Consortium and they have agreed to support its use. This invitation to tender has been advertised in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and the tender is being conducted under the EU Procurement Directives, restricted procedure. The supplier(s) is/ are the tenderer(s) whose tender is accepted in whole or in part by the CPC and who undertakes to accept orders for goods or services within the terms of the tender from the participating institutions and consortia. It is a requirement of the tender that the selected supplier(s) will extend the terms to all eligible institutions and consortia, as defined by the CPC including further education institutions, sixth forms, academies, schools, museums and other similar organisations. the tender is also available for higher education institutions via our colleagues in other consortia. As per our joint contracting programme other bodies that may potentially be interested in accessing the agreement include NWUPC (North West Universities Purchasing Consortium), NEUPC (North East Universities Purchasing Consortium), LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium), and WFEPC (Welsh Further Education Purchasing Consortium). The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia.
