Joint Stock Company for Public Railway Infrastructure Management "Serbian Railways Infrastructure", aims to apply for financing in the amount of EUR 36,7 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) towards the cost of the "Reconstruction of the railway line section Sicevo – Dimitrovgrad, from km 16+668 to km 96+700 (L=80,03 km) on the Nis – Dimitrovgrad – State Border (BG) Railway Line", and intends using part of the proceeds for payments of goods, works, and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project is expected to be jointly financed by the European Union (WBIF) in the amount of EUR 43 million. The proposed Project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 84 million equivalents, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services: • Procurement of Civil-Engineering Works on substructure and permanent way, level crossings and railway stations structures, contract notice commencing Q3 2017 • Procurement of supplementary Electrical-Engineering Works including signalling and telecommunication facilities, contract notice commencing Q3 2017 • One or more service contracts for design, supervision (FIDIC Engineer) and technical control of the works, contract notices commencing Q2 2017 Procurement of contract financed by the EIB will be conducted through the procedure as specified in the “Guide to Procurement” which can be found at the following website: http://www.eib.org/infocentre/publications/all/guide-to-procurement.htm and will be open to firms from any country. Specific procurement notice for contract to be subject to international publication will be announced, as it becomes available, in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
