The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of around EUR 350 million (w/o VAT), will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services: Package 1. Construction of OHL 750 kV Zaporizhzhia NPP – Kakhovska (190 km long), including installation of OPGW and construction of repair/maintenance unit. Package 2. Construction of a new SS 750/330 kV Kakhovska: Lot 1. Construction of SS 750/330 kV Kakhovska, supply and installation of AT 1000 MVA, automated control system for technological processes and relay protection and automatics as well as construction of related infrastructure. Lot 2. Construction of SS 750/330 kV Kakhovska, supply and installation of AT 1000 MVA and related infrastructure. Package 3. Construction of a diversion (2 x 27,9 km) of the existing 330 kV double circuit OHL Novokakhovska – Ostrovska including installation of OPGW (Novokakhovska – Kakhovska), rehabilitation of SS 330 kV Ostrovska. Package 4. Construction of a diversion (2 x 15,9 km) of the existing 330 kV double circuit OHL Novokahovska – Khersonska including installation of OPGW (Khersonska – Kakhovska), rehabilitation of SS 330 kV Khersonska. Also Lender's Engineer is foreseen to be procured. Tendering for the contracts from the above list began in the first quarter 2012. Procurement of goods and services listed above will be carried out following the results of open tender processes. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's 'Procurement Policies and Rules' and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
