Enterprise Train Phase 3. Refurbishment Services

Translink operates cross-border services under the Enterprise brand name in partnership with Irish Rail. This tender is for the supply of Enterprise train refurbishment services performed by suitably skilled and qualified staff working alongside NI Railways employees to enable component removal, component overhaul, component refit and testing. The service provider will be required to quality assure the work of their staff. There are a total of 32 carriages to be refurbished, consisting of: 4 x DVT (leading vehicle); 4 x 1st Plus carriages; 4 x Catering Car; 16 x Enterprise Class carriages; 4 x Generator Vans. It is estimated that the value of this contract will be between GBP 350 000 and GBP 500 000. The service provider will be engaged on a call-off basis. Award of this contract is no guarantee of any level of business.
