Prequalification. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall procure a gas chromatography trippelquadrupole mass spectrometer (GC-MS/MS) for the Department of Exposure and Risk Assessment. The Department provides professional advices to the health, food and environmental authorities. The Department conducts exposure research, where contents of nutrients and contaminants in food, as well as substances in water and the indoor environment, are assessed and compared to data from human samples and health. Chemical analyses of human samples are an essential part of the works. During 2013, the Department shall procure one gas chromatography trippelquadrupole mass spectrometer (GC-MS/MS). The instrument will be used for indentifying and quantifying trace amounts of different environmental contaminants in various matrixes. The tender contest is a two stage process where all qualified suppliers are invited to submit tenders. The Awarding Authority will summon between 3 and 6 qualified suppliers to negotiations. This tender notice applies for prequalification for participation in the tender contest.
