This “Submarine Cable Installation Management” tender concerns the provision of Installation Managers who: EN Standard form 05 — Contract notice – utilities 4 / 15. — Liaise between the Employer’s offshore installation contractor and the Employer’s marine coordination and offshore construction management department. It is necessary for installation managers to be familiar with the cable installation contract, Vattenfall operational guidelines and HSSE requirements. Liaison on a pragmatic and operational level is also necessary to ensure that the works offshore run smoothly and problems are effectively and efficiently dealt with, — Ensure that the mobilization of vessel, plant and personnel are compliant to Vattenfall requirements (Review and commenting of working procedures is a primary function prior to mobilization), — Collate and review daily progress reports (DPRs) and ensure they reflect the correct account of operations, — Ensure QAQC requirements are followed and any non-conformities are actioned, — Review and correct as-built charting and documentation mobilization ports are likely to be in Europe. Office locations for meetings and works preparation are likely to be in Amsterdam, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Hexham, Kolding, London, Stockholm and at the base harbour for the project(s).
