Additional financing information: The project is financed by a 10 000 000 EUR EBRD loan and co-financed by an investment grant of up to 1 500 000 EUR (the ‘Grant’) from the European Union Neighbourhood Investment Platform (‘EU NIP’). 2) Information on the project Project description: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed the Ukraine Public Transport Framework II: Kherson Trolleybus Sub-Project in October 2019 with the City of Kherson (the ‘City’) and communal enterprise ‘Khersonelectrotrans’ to improve public transport services in Kherson by financing the acquisition of: (i) up to 50 new trolleybuses, together with the spare parts and maintenance and diagnostic equipment; (ii) modernisation and extension of catenary network; and (iii) rehabilitation and modernisation of traction power substations.
