The assignment includes engineering design and erection (turnkey contract) of two new buildings in Jåttå camp for Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger. The buildings will be discussed as G block and warehouse. G block will be a multi-function building, and will be used by different sections and departments at JWC. G block will, among other things, contain: — check-in areas, — registration counters, — auditorium, — office work spaces, — premises for the Media Department Sound studio with a requirement for sound insulation and acoustics, — communication room, — changing room/wet room G block consists of three stories, and will have external access to all three stories. There is a separate stairwell from level two to level three, and with access and bridge to the upper level of the facility, where the entrance to the existing main building is located. In connection with the G block, a separate luggage area has been arranged, which is located next to the building itself. This is built in concrete, and is a naturally ventilated building with space to store luggage for personnel who need temporary storage. The number of work spaces will vary from a minimum of 25 — 30 to a significantly higher number during exercises. G block is approx. 2 100 m 2 . The site must be prepared and an outdoor area adapted to this will be established. A warehouse will be established with a connection to the existing values. The site will be facilitated to remove rocks, and these are located closely to the existing buildings. The storage will consist of two stories. Arrangements are being made for goods reception to be on the 1 st floor. A large storage area will also be established here. Office spaces will also be allowed for in this section. Cubicle offices and an office landscape will be established on the 2 nd storey. Storage is approx. 900 m 2 . The project will be implemented as a turnkey contract in accordance with NS 8407.
